BridgeSync vs Blip

Blip sends files. BridgeSync connects your iPhone and your PC.

Blip is a fast, cross-platform file sender, and it is good at that one job. BridgeSync does that same local transfer and then keeps going: a shared clipboard, live screen mirroring, your iPhone notifications on the desktop, and control of the PC itself. One is a way to send a file. The other is the whole bridge between the two devices you already own.

What Blip does, and where it stops

Blip calls itself "the fastest way to send files," and it moves them between your devices over your own network, or over its own relay when the two devices are apart. It ships on Windows, Mac, Android, iPhone and Linux. What it does not touch is everything around the file: it does not share your clipboard, mirror your screen, put your notifications on the PC, or control the machine. That is the part BridgeSync is built for.

Your files, your business, no meter

Blip's free tier is for non-commercial use; the moment you move files for paid work, it becomes a Business plan at $25 per user each month, billed yearly ($300 per user each year). BridgeSync has no commercial line and no plan above Pro. Everything you move stays on the network you own and never passes through a server I run, so there is nothing in the middle to meter, throttle at peak times, or hold onto.

The trade is honest: BridgeSync works when your iPhone and PC are on the same network, not from the other side of the country. That is the same thing that makes it direct and fast, with no relay in the path, and every transfer is end-to-end encrypted on top.
